The Gilman Square Arts & Music Festival is our signature event held annually in September. What began as a humble block party in 2018 is now a fully-fledged festival featured in the Somerville Arts Council's SomerStreets series. The Festival includes live music, artists, crafters, food vendors, family activities, and more!
Save the date for Saturday September 13, 2025! (Rain date Sunday September 14th.)
The festival, nicknamed G'25, couldn't happen without the help of our amazing volunteers! The Festival Planning Committee typically meets once a month in person, often with food. Find out more, and get involved!
The festival is located in Somerville on Pearl Street between Marshall Street and James Street and has room for many local visual and performing artists with no table fee. What's your specialty?
Are you a local food or beverage seller, a small business, or a community service provider interested in reaching hundreds of neighbors in one glorious afternoon? Please let us know!
Set up crew, tear down crew, sign posters, face painters... If you have two hours or more between 10am and 6pm on the day of the festival, we'd love your help!
We are so lucky to have the support of the Somerville Arts Council and other key partners who have reliably invested in this event and our community. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please email the GSNC Board!
